I am very, very angry with your office! I repeatedly asked if this was covered by my insurance (Medicare/Tricare) … I was assured that it was, that no patient had ever complained of insurance not covering … yet yesterday I received a bill for $1016.00!!! I consider this fraudulent, and outright theft!
At no time was I told that the testing was not covered, nor how expensive it was … in the past, whenever I had out-of-pocket expenses (for example an extra eye test, custom orthotics, a non-covered blood test, etc.) I was apprised of the extra cost and given the opportunity to opt out. You did not do this.
I think this is theft, and an illegal (or at least should be) process for gaining extra money! Be assured I will spread the word and actually discourage anyone of my acquaintance from using your services!
